data-mm-id=”_yp8pylwd9″>Skip Bayless has been growing more and more angry with the Dallas Cowboys over the opening days of NFL free agency. Jerry Jones told everybody who could hear last month that America's Team was "all in" for 2024, which sure seemed like a sign of how active Dallas planned to be when the offseason kicked off on March 11. Instead, they've been content to sit on their hands and watch as other teams doled out large amounts of cash for the most talented free agents on the market– including Tony Pollard, who left the Cowboys for the Tennessee Titans. There are plenty of data points to suggest that this is actually the most effective way to go about free agency. The first wave where the big contracts are doled out is always exciting but the players signed during that period flop more often than not. Such is the nature of NFL free agency, where the best players never hit the open market so teams with roster weaknesses are left to jostle and overpay largely second-tier players. But that does not matter to a rabid Cowboys fanbase who last saw their team getting blown out at home in a playoff game to a historic rival. It's also not at all what Jones implied was going to happen. Bayless angry-tweeted about this on Tuesday night but used some interesting wording that got everybody's attention. All in, my ass.— Skip Bayless (@RealSkipBayless) March 12, 2024As the great Sterling Archer often said, are we not doing phrasing anymore? Naturally, because it is Bayless and it's a funny tweet, the internet teed off on this all evening. Below you'll find some of the finer jokes about it. Jurgen Klinsmann took his place as a spectator at the final of Euro 2008 here on Sunday in the knowledge that the German Federation credit him with laying the foundations of Die Mannschaft s new rise to prominence.
Klinsmann took the Germans to third at the last World Cup on home soil playing an exuberant and entertaining brand of football before handing on to his assistant Joachim Loew, who has kept the revolution going and taken the Germans to the next level.
The German Football Federation (DFB) invited Klinsmann to the Ernst-Happel Stadion in recognition of his previous work before handing over the reins to Loew and the former Stuttgart, Inter Milan, Tottenham and Bayern Munich striker duly took his seat in the VIP stand.

If Manchester United do not qualify for the Champions League last 16, they will point to two profound aberrations in an otherwise positive group stage.
Firstly, the 2-1 defeat to Istanbul Basaksehir, when Demba Ba was allowed to score a goal after receiving the ball in his own half without a United player between him and Dean Henderson s goal, all from United s own corner.
Secondly, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer s unfathomable decision not to substitute Fred in Wednesday s 3-1 loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
Nobody watching could quite work out why Fred was not sent off when he pushed his head into Leandro Paredes . The PSG man s reaction was embarrassing, but Fred s offence was clear to everyone, including the VAR officials. Yet referee Daniele Orsato saw fit only …

The Israeli international endured a stormy debut season at Stamford Bridge after moving from Bolton Wanderers last summer, featuring just 13 times in the Premier League while sitting behind John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho and Alex in the pecking order. With the return of Dutch Euro 2008 sensation Bhoularouz and resurgent Serbian Acimovic, Ben Haim knows that competition for places will now be grueling.

Robert Lewandowski plays his club football in the Bundesliga but he is hoping to torment Germany when he leads Poland in Thursday s crunch Group C encounter.
Both sides won their opening fixtures at Euro 2016 Poland edging out Northern Ireland 1-0 while the world champions saw off Ukraine 2-0.
Thursday s meeting at Stade de France is likely to decide who tops the group and Lewandowski, who drew a blank against Northern Ireland, is hoping to upset one club team-mate in particular.
Lewandowski and Jerome Boateng were involved in a training-ground spat at Bayern Munich in May 2015, with the latter less than happy with a strong challenge from the striker.
Boateng insisted there is no problem between the two, but Poland captain Lewandowski has something in st…

Paul Ince s return to the dugout with Blackpool began with a loss, as Leeds United coasted to a 2-0 win in the Championship on Wednesday.
David Norris and Steve Morison were on target at Elland Road, giving Leeds their first win of February and easing the pressure somewhat on manager Neil Warnock.
Ince was resuming football management for the first time since he split company with Notts County in 2011, but he could not immediately brighten spirits at the club, as they remained within five points of the drop.
Norris fired Leeds ahead in the 57th minute, a deserved goal for all the chances the hosts created in the open…

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham would relish the challenge of playing a team like Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Abraham opened the scoring as Chelsea finished their Group H campaign with a 2-1 victory over Lille at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, but Valencia s 1-0 win at Ajax meant the Blues had to settle for second place.
Frank Lampard s side will consequently take on a team that topped their section in the first knockout round.
England international Abraham is keen to test himself somewhere new, with Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Barca and RB Leipzig their potential opponents in the last 16.
