Prediction: Juventus vs Lazio

Juventus might be coming off a three-game winless run (D2, L1) but remain fairly comfortable at the top of the standings with a six-point lead over both Inter Milan and Atalanta, although that advantage could shrink to just three points if Inter defeat AS Roma on Sunday. Regardless of what might happen with Inter, Juventus know winning here could put them in a great spot to win the Serie A title once again. The Old Lady have won the league title in each of the last eight campaigns. They would need to undergo a massive meltdown to not clinch it during the current campaign. They can boast a strong home record as testament of their ability to earn the three points here as well. Juventus are the best home team in the Serie A this season, with a W14, D2 record in 16 matches.

Team News

Sami Khedira (thigh) and Federico Bernardeschi (suspension) have been ruled out of this match.

Juventus could be depleted even further, though. Mattia De Sciglio (thigh), Giorgio Chiellini (calf), Rodrigo Bentancur (calf) will all be game-time decisions for the coaching staff.

Lazio

Lazio have taken just one point of their last 12 available (D1, L3) and have fallen to fourth place with only 69 points, but a win could put them five points behind Juventus with four games left in the schedule. The Rome-based side has not looked as the threatening, dominant side they were earlier this year. However, their lack of results of late can be attributed to injuries. They re missing several key first-team players due to injury, and it s not like they have a very deep squad to weather several absences at the same time. Lazio are coming off a 0-0 draw against Udinese the last time out, but the previously lost to Sassuolo (1-2), Lecce (1-2) and AC Milan (0-3). Two of those defeats came at home as well. Undoubtedly, a win over Juventus in this game could boost their title chances enormously.

Team News

Lazio will be incredibly depleted ahead of this matchup, as they will have several first-team regulars sidelined though injury.

The list includes Patric (suspension), Luis Alberto (undisclosed), Lucas Leiva (knee), Adam Marusic (thigh), Jony (undisclosed), Joaquin Correa (knee), Senad Lulic (ankle) and Stefan Radu (calf).
